The Wi-Pics Mobile G2E650NS Wireless Photography Kit Description
Wi-Pics Mobile is an advanced solution for the professional photographer designed to allow the photographer to Data Associate (at point of capture) and transmit their image files wirelessly, and securely, to a remote system, editing station, printer, etc., via UNC or FTP protocols. Data Association is the ability to embed data from a barcode or mag-strip reader into the User Comments and/or Image Description sections of the EXIF Header of the JPEG file. In addition, there are three User Defined Fields that can be populated with any type of information the photographer requires to track or locate their images, such as Photographer Name, Location, Date, Team, Event, etc. The information entered into the User Defined Fields is also stored in the EXIF Header.
- Data Associate image files via optional barcode scanner and/or three user defined data fields. Embed all data fields (including scanned data) into the User Comments or Image Description (or both) sections of the EXIF header of the JPG.
- Ability to "Lock-Out" all command functions to prevent tampering with configuration settings.
- Automatically rename image files with any or all of the data fields (including barcode data).
- Connects to the camera via the USB port.
- Transmit image files wirelessly via UNC or FTP protocols. Supports WEP, WPA, WPA,WPA2, TKIP and AES wireless security standards. Easily view file transmission progress via the LCD display.
